Using call flip during a business conversation is more professional than saying “let me call you right back”. It doesn’t require the person on the other end to hang up or do anything, and they can just stay on the line while you quickly switch to another device in about 3 seconds.

What is Call Flip?

Call Flip is a business phone feature that enables users to switch devices during a call. This calling feature from Telzio makes it easy to move around and stay mobile without disconnecting.

For example, when you’re on a call on your desk phone and need to head out of the office, you can transfer the call to yourself on the mobile app and continue the call with minimal interruption.

How to Switch Devices During a Call

Call flip works just like a regular call transfer.

You can switch devices in the middle of an active call by  transferring the call to yourself.

To switch devices during a call:

  1. Hit transfer
  2. Dial your own extension
  3. Pick up on the device where you want to continue the call.

With Telzio users, you can be logged in to multiple devices, including IP phones, softphones, and the mobile app. If the user is logged into all their devices and a call flip is initiated, all the users’ devices will ring.

As always, Telzio makes business calling features very easy to use, and call flip is another one of the many calling features included.
